Job Title: Vertical Development Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

As a Vertical Development Manager, you are strategic and collaborative; you set vision and drive results. You hunt and prospect. You learn and develop your professional skillset on a regular basis. As a Vertical Development Manager, you will be responsible for acquiring new clients and maintaining services with the existing book of business.  The primary focus is on driving leads to our 24/7/365 Emergency Line by promoting our services in an assigned vertical line of business. You will be responsible for the internal business strategies for generating and maintaining strategic relationships with customers, vendors and partners. You will need to be strong at interacting with people and establishing quick and long-lasting relationships. You will be responsible for representing RestorationHQ at local functions, trade shows, meetings and more.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

 

  • Build emergency/disaster client pipeline with revenue targets across the key account portfolio
  • Identify customer needs and review their requirements in order to provide custom marketing solutions
  • Construct and present tailored presentations/proposals to customers based on their needs
  • Provide excellent customer service consisting of scheduled, planned regular meeting (4,6,12 weeks), face to face, events, “meetings with purpose”, and reporting
  • Manage existing accounts as top priority and with additional time, expand the commercial customer base by setting up meetings and presentations with commercial property decision makers
  • Achieve quarterly revenue and other goals and targets with leadership, in line with the Marketing and Business Development plan
  • Provide accurate in-person and documented weekly reporting for all goals and objectives
  • Manage all customer and other reporting requirements daily, weekly, monthly, annually using the ERP Software
  • Work with leadership and assist with campaign efforts including email, online, in-person, interactive media and other tactics
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of the Commercial Market and competitive environment
  • Participate in professional development courses to learn and grow business opportunities
  • When required or requested, manage inbound leads to grow commercial business opportunities
  • Report on closed sales and work on repeat business opportunities
  • Visit client locations to track satisfaction, maintain relationships & secure leads on future projects
  • Facilitate educational events for new & existing clients and exhibit at events to establish sales growth
  • Develop strategies to most effectively manage processes, leverage team members and business expenses
  • Report progress on goals, provide updates on association meetings and other outside business generating activities
  • Track & update all contract documentation as it relates to the clients needs.
  • Other duties as assigned pertaining to the further development of your client relationships & company marketing strategy

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in marketing, or business related degree and / or equivalent experience
  • Proven successful sales and account management experience
  • Sales/marketing/account management training
  • Strong skill base in use of cloud-based software
  • Understand the basics of IT and technology
  • Energetic, outgoing and self-motivated
  • Positive attitude with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to work independently and set own schedule
  • Strong Presentation skills & attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills, listening and negotiating
  • Ability to effectively prioritize
  • Ability to pass background check, MVD record and drug screening

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
